I've gone back to my old ways, that is, buying luxury cars which are a few years old. The nicer the car, the older they need to be to be affordable, but honestly, a 15 year old Mercedes is going to cost less, require less upkeep (if you know what you're doing), will last longer, is safer, and is a WHOLE lot nicer than a new base model Kia/Hyundai/Big Three.
There is a skill to used car shopping. First thing you need to know, AVOID USED CAR DEALERS.
Many of those vehicles are cast-offs from new car trade-in lots, which either can't be sold, or are so mediocre, the new car dealer doesn't want them around. "
