Thanks for becoming my newest buddy. As a chemist, I know that E-10 does reduce the amount of poisonous carbon monoxide, CO, that is produced by all internal combustion engines. We require it during the winter here in Arizona. They used to add MTBE as an oxidizer, but it was such a bad water pollutant if it was leaked or spilled they quit using it. Most engines and rubber fuel system parts can tolerate E-10, but we DON"T need or want anything higher. I'll get off my soap box now. Merry Christmas.
